Frequently Asked Questions

faq

Do you offer hair and makeup services?

Yes, our team is comprised of hairstylists and makeup artists. We offer a variety of services including: no-makeup-makeup (for those who don’t want to have any makeup on or for men), airbrush makeup, men's grooming, etc.

Do I need a trial?

We highly recommend having a hair and makeup trial where we can try different looks for your wedding day. Our goal is to get you the look your heart desires. A “natural look” can mean differently from one person to another. Your wedding day isn’t the time to figure out what you like and don’t like. This will also make less stressed out on your wedding day and make sure we have chemistry.

How far in advance do you book out?

A year in advance for any weddings during the busy season (May till November). At least 8 months in advance would be ideal for off season.

Do I need to have the total number of people in my bridal party who want to get services?

Yes, especially if you have a large bridal party. Once you sign your contract and pay your retainer, we will block your date and decline any future inquiries. To accommodate your beauty needs, I select the artists for your wedding.

I usually email a spreadsheet for the bride to fill out to include the following information:

Name of each of the bridal party; requested hairstyle; current hair length, texture, and thickness; skin type (combo, dry, oily); any skin issues; fake lashes.

Do you require a retainer?

Yes, the retainer is required to book any services and is 50% of the total services. The retainer is non- refundable. The final payment is due a week before the wedding.

Do you require a minimum for services?

Yes, the minimum is $500.

Why does the bride cost more?

Our goal is to have our clients extremely satisfied with our work and communication. Hence, a lot of time is spent on multiple emails with emails and schedules, texts, phone calls are spent with the bride.

Do you offer discounts for larger bridal parties?

No. It is more work for a larger bridal party: selecting the appropriate artist/stylist for your wedding; making sure we adhere to the timeline without services overlapping, allowing enough time per service.

What payment methods do you accept?

We only accept Zelle ApplePay or cash (not CashApp). Credit cards, CashApp, checks & Venmo are not accepted.

What products do you use?

We only use professional luxury hair and makeup products. We are aware of the heat and humidity in our area. We know what products to use that withstand the weather. Some of the products we use are: Sonia Roselli skincare line, Anastsia Beverly Hills, Charlotte Tilbury, NARS, Natasha Denona, Dior, RCMA, Graftobian, Dynessa Myricks, Maqpro, Olaplex, Living Proof, Senna, Viseart, Temptu airbrush makeup.

Do you charge for travel?

If the location is within the DMV area, there will be no travel charges.

Any location that is 2 hours or more drive, a hotel room is required.

Do you have enough brushes for large bridal parties?

Yes, we have enough brushes for 20 people. We pride ourselves on our hygiene practices. We pack a set of brushes per client and there will be no cleaning brushes in between clients. Please see our hygiene protocol on the Home page.
